This special presentation by Jerry Jenkins will look at the hills and shores of Lake Champlain, viewed locally as distinctive biological patterns; regionally as ecological themes that occur widely in the Northern Forest; and globally as part of a planetary story.
Jerry Jenkins is a field biologist and biogeographer, trained in philosophy and physics, with fifty-five years of field experience in the Northern Forest Region; author of the Adirondack Atlas, Acid Rain in the Adirondacks, and Climate Change in the Adirondacks; founder, with Ed McNeill, of the Northern Forest Atlas Project; and author, illustrator, and designer of it books and graphics."
