Instructor: Kevin Raines is a professor of art at Notre Dame University of Maryland. He tailors his instruction to address individual needs and carefully crafts his teaching to address the experience level and personal aesthetic unique to each of his students. Kevin’s plein air watercolor and oil paintings are born out of a deep concern for environmental conservation. Many of the images he creates are a result of collaborative work with organizations such as The Adirondack Nature Conservancy, The Audubon Society, and UNESCO. He lives and works in his Wadhams home and studio throughout the year.
