Volunteers, organized by the Grange, are working to develop the open space in Whallonsburg around Whitcomb’s and the Grange for community residents and visitors. A great response on the first Planning Day in early May generated lots of ideas about how to use this beautiful area along the Boquet River.

On Saturday, June 4, the Greenspace Committee will be presenting several plans for your input.  From 1-4:00pm, try some suggested activities, use the space with others, and join the fun.

• Cookout on the grill

• Play bocce, badminton, and other games

• Stroll the riverfront path

• Help in the community garden

• Walk the labyrinth

• Grab a pole and go fishing

• Sit in on the music jam
