Celia Clarke is the St. Lawrence Valley reporter for North Country Public Radio. She will talk about the different kind of story telling used by NCPR audio journalists use to report the news. Using samples from the stations award-winning reporting, she’ll take you on an audio journey around the region.

Before moving to Canton, Clarke was a reporter in Ithaca, New York for WSKG Public Radio. Public radio is her second career. She was a public-sector folklorist with an interest in material culture and the environment for 20 years. In the summers, she can be found dipping into the natural waters around the North Country. In the winter, she’s just trying to stay warm.
