In order to help keep our community healthy, we won’t be showing movies at the Grange this winter. Instead, the Home Together Winter Film Series has picked five movies you can watch anytime on your own at home and then join a REEL TALK via Zoom. You can listen to a provocative discussion about the film by a special guest and submit your own questions. We can be Home Together with great movies and lively speakers until we can be together in person in front of the big screen at the Grange again.

MY OCTOPUS TEACHER streams on Netflix.
This astonishing, heartwarming, stunningly beautiful documentary captures an unusual friendship. For almost a year, the filmmaker dived each day and won the animal’s trust. Eventually, they developed an extraordinary bond that revealed the transformative power of a world most of us know nothing about.
REEL TALK speaker: Richard King is the author of three books about our human relationship with marine life including Lobster and, most recently, Ahab’s Rolling Sea: A Natural History of Moby Dick.
