WHALLONSBURG — If you missed Michael Glabicki and Dirk Miller the first time at the Whallonsburg Grange Hall, Friday's performance is an encore for the duo of Rusted Root fame.
“I'm working on a new album for my solo project called MG Uprooted,” said Glabicki, frontman.
“It's becoming more complete and more in focus now. We're putting a band together and also doing these duo shows, too.”
"Awesome" is how Glabicki describes playing more intimate venues.
“It's one of my favorite ways of playing music now. We're very in sync, and it is just a whatever happens happens kind of thing. We are exploring all these different things every night and getting some nice surprises happening.”

Pittsburgh is home to both Miller and Glabicki, so they record and rehearse at the latter's home studio.
