The Essex town historian’s periodically produce a wonderful short newsletter called “Essex in 500 Words” with stories of events, places, milestones, and other things of interest to residents and visitors alike. This issue is appropriately called “The Mouse That Roared” and focuses on the history and development of the Grange. While “mouse” may not be the best description of a 110-year-old, 2500 sf building, the Grange has had an outsized impact on this community throughout its life. We’re proud to help keep it roaring well into the 21st century.
